The first secret is that there are plenty of places where you can go and drink in public. You will need to think about some of the rules when it comes to the city limits. You will be able to have an open container in public but the establishment where you got the drink is going to need to allow you to leave the establishment with the drink. The drink is also going to not need to be in a glass or metal container like a beer can.

Prostitution

The second secret is it is not legal to be a prostitute inside of Las Vegas. This can be a little confusing because Nevada is that only state that allows prostitution. But the law is for counties that have a population of less than 400,000. There is only one county in Nevada that has a population of 400,000 and that is Clark County where Las Vegas is located at the time of the law. Since it has become such a tourist attraction, then that they are trying to cut down on some of the prostitution that has happening in the city.

Gambling

The third secret is that it is illegal to gamble outside of Las Vegas. This is because the other cities are trying to get rid of some of the negative side effects that can happen when a person gambles. Since the lifeblood of the economy of Nevada is gaming and tourism, it is refreshing to know that there is a place where the people who are visiting Vegas and the residents that go to get away from all of the things that normally go on while they are in Las Vegas like the glitz and glamour.

Fire

The fourth secret is since there are thousands of guests at a given time, then there are a lot of safety concerns that are involved when it comes to constructing a large building. They have to think of all of the ways that they can prevent and control the fires if they do happen. All of the newer casinos are going to have a variety of safety features like the water sprinklers throughout the building. In the older buildings and restaurants, the sprinkler system was only on the first two floors in hopes that the fire would be put out before it got to the other floors of the building.

El Cortez

The fifth secret is El Cortez. This is a hotel where you can go play if you are just a fan of the coin slots. In fact, this casino is one of the oldest that is located in Las Vegas and it still operates under the original name. This is something that you are going to enjoy if you like the sound of all of that metal rushing down the slots if you are able to get a big cash out.

The best part is the giraffe paints so you are going to be able to get a lot closer to these animals, then you would be able to if you were on a African safari.

Pickleball

The last secret is that you are going to be able to play pickleball. Basically, this is a hybrid racket game on the top of the roof of the pool deck at the Plaza. This is going to overlook the Fremont Street. But you are going to need to make sure that you have the proper equipment to do so. It is a combination of tennis, badminton, and table tennis that uses solid paddles that are going to be made of wood of composite materials. You will be hitting a ball like a wiffle ball.
